Bracken Place is set in a spacious property on the outskirts of Southampton, surrounded by 2 acres of lawns and children’s gardens.
The nursery opened in 2000 and has grown through the years to be now recognised as one of the leading independent day care nursery’s in Hampshire. It has developed through experience of child care and its unique setting.
The aim of Bracken Place:
Is to provide a nurturing, caring and stimulating environment where children are safe, respected and treated as individuals.
We aim to provide an environment that replicates the loving care and attention that your child receives at home with in a setting where children can experience lots of outdoor space, get a thirst for learning and have FUN!

Bracken Place consists of 5 separate areas, all of which are fully equipped with age appropriate equipment for the age groups:-
Baby Unit 3-12 months, Little Waddler Unit 12- 18 months, Big Waddler Unit 18-24 months, Toddler Unit 24-36 months in the main house, with a purpose built pre school for children 36-60 months.
Choosing a day care nursery for your child is such an important decision and one you will rightly wish to make with confidence. At Bracken Place when a child starts at the nursery a settling in period is arranged to ensure the smooth transition from home to nursery and an opportunity for us to learn more about your child.
At Bracken Place our desire is to consider every child individually by providing support and care for moral, social, intellectual, emotional and physical development. We operate a key Worker System at Bracken Place which allows individual members of staff to focus on children to enhance our philosophy and ethos to develop children by praise and encouragement.
