Fees & Funding
Fees are calculated on the basis of 51 weeks divided by 12 monthly payments.
All absences, including sickness and holidays, are paid for at the full rate.
The Nursery will be closed for 5 working days over the Christmas and New Year period.
We will be closing at 4.00 pm on Tuesday 23rd December 2025 and re-opening at 8.00 am Monday 5th January 2026.
The Nursery will be closed on Bank Holidays, which has been taken into account when the fees have been calculated, these days are charged at full rate.
Fees are paid by standing order or voucher monthly in advance, by the first day of the month.
The nursery is registered for child care from 8.00 am – 6.00 pm Monday to Friday. Children must be collected promptly from morning and afternoon sessions, the nursery reserves the right to charge £20.00 for a late collection fee - this covers the first 10 minutes and then a further £5 will be charged for every 10 minutes after that.
Nursery (3 months – 3 years)
Full Day - 8.00 am : 6.00 pm - £69.00
Pre-School (3 Years – 5 years)
Full Day - 8.00 am : 6.00 pm - £69.00
Pre School Mornings Session - 8.00 am : 1.00 pm - £48.00
Fees include a morning snack, cooked luncheon and afternoon tea.
Fees are reviewed on an annual basis.
Funding
All 3 & 4 year old pre-school children are entitled to up to 15 hours free funding per week as part of the early years entitlement scheme (the EYFE) from the term after their third birthday. We also offer 30 hours additional pre-school funding. (extended funding) This is available to all working eligible families. If you have a 2 year old child in care, adopted, has an education health and care plan in place or other support function in place please also visit www.childcarechoices.gov.uk as you may be covered and entitled to 2-year-old funding.
Funding is based on 38 weeks of the year giving entitled families up to 570 or 1140 hours respectively per year. Bracken Place offers funding stretched over the 51 weeks that we are open which means you will receive up to 11 or 22 hours every week of the year, not exceeding 570 or 1140 hours.
