Bracken Place is a spacious day nursery and preschool for children between the ages of 0 – 5 years, set in 2 acres of lawns and gardens in Chilworth on the outskirts of Southampton.

We opened 2000 and have grown through the years to be now recognised as one of the leading independent day care nursery and preschool's in Hampshire. Our aim is to provide a nurturing, caring and stimulating environment where children are safe, respected and treated as individuals.

In January 2020 we were delighted to be given an “Good” rating by Ofsted who felt the overall quality of teaching and learning experiences provided to be at the highest level.

We are committed to providing a friendly, fascinating and fun home from home nursery experience that replicates the love and attention your child receives at home. When children walk through our doors, they have a voice, are listened to and are free to express themselves and let their individual personalities grow and shine through.

Our homely rooms and wonderful woodland grounds provide endless opportunities for play and exploration and our unique environments support curiosity and creativity. Children are given time to be children, time to play, time to laugh and time to explore. They are supported to problem solve, make decisions, and navigate the world around them to develop confidence, independence, resilience, and respect for not only themselves, but others and the world we live in. We strive to ensure children develop a lifelong love of learning.
